PitchGuard Chanter Split Stock System

A McCallum Bagpipes. chanter split-stock with PitchGuard™ system. With this system, your chanter stock becomes your reed protector as well as giving you the option to control the airflow to your reed with the twist of a lever.

It is a fully mechanical, multi-faceted system that cocoons your chanter reed and offers both tonal stability and physical protection. 

Once your chanter reed is set inside the stock it doesn't need not be removed for days or even weeks.

The valve cut off allows you to shut off the chanter and tune the drones by themselves.

*We only stock the plain metal threaded mount. You can easily unscrew the mount and replace it with an engraved McCallum one. If you need a special order, please contact us directly.
