It is made of polypenco plastic and has an internal water trap built into it which keeps your reed dry and extends the life significantly. The spit is easily emptied, simply by tipping the mouthpiece upside-down and letting gravity do all the work. The chanter cap has a 16mm internal diameter and will fit most standard plastic practice chanters on the market.
